Pickleball at The Wembley Club; it’s more fun here!

Wembley has the most active year-round Pickleball community in Northeast Ohio, including regular play, tournaments, and lessons for all levels. Whether you are a beginner, or an experienced player, you will find many dozens of others to play with at Wembley. We have a plethora of casual play, mixers, and we host tournaments. Our instructor staff is unparalleled, exceptionally fun and with world class pickleball experience. Currently, three of our pickleball pros have world rankings in the top 100. There are great opportunities at different times of day for pickleball instruction.

There are 12 pickleball courts, for year-round play. Members have full access to book courts for private games, in addition to all of the other opportunities.

Open Play Days and Times:

Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 12:30PM-2PM; Ladies Only
Tuesday: 8AM-11AM; High Intermediate-Advanced Ladies Only
Tuesday: 5:30PM-7:30PM; Co-Ed; Ladder League starts at 7:30PM (free of charge, members only, Co-Ed)
Thursday: 5:30PM-9PM; Co-Ed; Play with the Pro at 11:30PM ($20/person, Co-Ed)
Saturday: 2PM-4PM; Co-Ed
Sunday: 8AM-11AM; Co-Ed

During our open play times, dozens of our members show up every week at those times and mix around into different games, gravitating to players of similar level. During our ladder league, members are placed on a court at their level at the beginning of the six-week session, then every week one player moves up a court, and one moves down. Pickleball Lessons and Clinics

Alex Toth has been playing pickleball for roughly 6 years since he was in high school. After high school, he attended Penn State University where he started the pickleball club that gained over 100 members in the first year. Over the past few years Alex has won multiple gold medals in 5.0 tournaments and has recently begun to play professional tournaments. Alex is currently ranked #8 in the region for singles and #43 in doubles. He enjoys traveling and growing the game while making friends at the same time!

Robert Golsmith; 4.0 pickleball player. Certified PB teaching professional. Has played in many local tournaments, placed third in the Minto US Open Pickleball Championships
Mens Skill/Age Singles 3.5/4.0:50+ in Naples, FL, and placed First in the 4.0 35+ Singles at the APP $35k Cincinnati Open. He ended 2021 47th in the world ratings for Senior Pro!

Katie Allan has been playing pickleball since 2020. In May of 2021 she began competing in tournaments, and traveling. She has multiple ammeter and pro singles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles wins. In March of 2022, she began playing Pro Singles, and in August of 2023 she transitioned to playing all pro events. Katie is currently ranked 47th in the world and 3rd in the region for Women’s Pro Singles. She is also ranked 19th in the region for doubles. She is a sponsored pro with Selkirk. She loves playing, teaching, traveling, making friends, and growing the game!
